Join us for the panel discussion for Broad/Cast: Reclaiming Representation, a dynamic event exploring the intersections of media and identity. This event brings together Black creatives to examine how historically marginalized voices are challenging dominant narratives and reshaping representation across film, digital media and sound.
This event will feature Erika DeFreitas, a multidisciplinary artist whose work is included in Broad/Cast; Mark V. Campbell, a DJ-scholar and cultural theorist specializing in diasporic sonic cultures; and Sobaz Benjamin, a local filmmaker and community activist who employs storytelling as a tool for identity and empowerment.
